Actor's first work as director set for screen debut

During a recently promotional event in Beijing, Guo said that the film was inspired by Hollywood sci-fi blockbusters.
"I'm crazy about American sci-fi films. I often read articles about them. I hope to diversify the Chinese film market. So my upcoming film has sci-fi elements and elements from crime thrillers," he says.
