Apart from the tourism business, his family also herds more than 50 yaks and plants crops, such as barley, wheat, potatoes and rape seeds.
Hu Xiongying, an official with the Lunang Management Committee, said there were only 28 guesthouses and 115 beds in the villages around the town in 2016.
"Thanks to the newly-built international tourism town, the number of guesthouses increased to 617, and the number of beds grew to 2,300 now," Hu said.
"This place is heavenly beautiful and enriched with traditional culture; we want to make more tourism products featured with Tibetan culture, so more tourists will find this place more interesting."
