China maintains global lead in NEVs

China's production and sales of new energy vehicles have ranked first in the world for six consecutive years, with a total sales volume of 5.5 million units, Minister of Industry and Information Technology Xiao Yaqing said.

In recent years, China has issued about 60 supporting policies and measures, and the development of new energy vehicle industry has achieved positive results, with aspects such as basic materials, basic parts, motors, electronic controls, batteries and whole vehicles making substantial breakthroughs.
