Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference opens new horizons

The 18th Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference commenced at the Fenglin Buyi Scenic Area in Xingyi city, Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture in Guizhou province on Thursday, with the theme "Promoting the deep integration of culture and tourism, forging world-level tourism destinations".

Hosting a variety of activities, the conference showcased Guizhou's rich ethnic culture. Scene-style intangible cultural heritage displays replaced traditional large-scale performances, reflecting Guizhou's innovative approach to business product planning and development.

During the opening ceremony, the "Guizhou-Hong Kong-Macao Tourism Alliance" was formally established, and the host city, Anshun city, was bestowed with a flag presentation.

Throughout the conference, a series of supporting activities are scheduled, including the 4th National Road Trip Camping Club Convention, the Guizhou Cultural and Tourism Industry Investment Fair & Colorful Guizhou Tourism Goods Competition Awards Ceremony, and the National Travel Agent Convention.

The Guizhou Tourism Industry Development Conference has been held for 17 consecutive sessions, serving as a bright business card for Guizhou's tourism sector, and a major platform for promoting the integrated development of tourism with other industries.

Xingyi city, situated in Qianxinan, boasts stunning natural landscapes, rich ethnic customs and a profound historical heritage. In recent years, Qianxinan prefecture has vigorously promoted the synergistic development of "tourism +" across multiple industries, vigorously advancing health tourism, sports tourism, cultural tourism, agricultural tourism, and more, thereby fostering the high-quality development of the tourism economy.
