Overseas PhD talents explore tech opportunities in China
A high-level talent exchange activity was held successfully in East China where a group of 15 PhD holders from overseas shared their scientific research outcomes and learned about local policies supporting sci-tech development during visits to universities and scientific institutions in the Yangtze River Delta, sparking more possibilities for cooperation.
The doctoral scholars were brought to China by INNO-APAC, a technology innovation platform based in Shanghai, through the organization of INNO-APAC China Tech Tour, which lasted from May 6 to 11. They are from esteemed institutions such as Yonsei University, RMIT and the University of Manchester, who won the tech tour opportunity from over 390 global applications.
The journey commenced with a warm welcome and opening ceremony at the INNO-APAC headquarter, then the itinerary took the participants on a captivating journey, encompassing notable destinations such as the pioneering G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor, the cutting-edge ZhongAn Technology Park — an industrial platform at the forefront of innovation, and renowned educational institutions like Fudan University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
