Consul-General calls for expanded visa-free policy for British nationals

Dominic McAllister, Consul-General of the British Consulate-General in Wuhan, offered a glowing endorsement of Henan as a worthy travel destination at the 2024 Cooperation and Exchange Conference between Henan Province and Multinational Corporations, which is being held in Zhengzhou, Henan province, from Sept 24 to 26.

Having explored various cities and sites in Henan, he stressed that the 144-hour visa-free transit policy wasn't enough for British visitors to fully grasp the province's rich cultural essence.

This gathering has attracted foreign envoys in China, representatives of international organizations, top executives of multinationals in China and representatives from noted investment promotion organizations and chambers of commerce, showcasing Henan's commitment to openness and collaboration on the global stage.
