The China Artificial Intelligence Innovation Conference and the 2025 Forbes China AI Tech Enterprises TOP 50 Award Ceremony takes place on June 27 in Wuhan East Lake High-tech Development Zone (Optics Valley of China, or OVC).

The conference brings together top global scholars, industry leaders, and innovation pioneers to explore trends at the frontiers of AI technology and industrial integration through keynote speeches, roundtable forums, strategic signings, and other diverse forms.

Nine companies from Wuhan, including Zidong Taichu, Dameng Data, and Landing Med, have made the main and sub-lists of 2025 Forbes China AI Tech Enterprises Top 50. Wuhan ranked fourth in terms of the number of listed companies nationwide, with eight technology companies from OVC.

Wang Jinqiao, director of the Wuhan AI Research Institute, was also selected for the Influential Figures list. The institute he serves is located in OVC and focuses on creating typical demonstration scenarios and applying industry vertical models using the "Zidong Taichu" multimodal large model and AI open service platform.

OVC has promoted the development of the AI industry, continuously strengthening innovation sources, application demonstrations, and ecosystem construction. The zone has attracted over 400,000 employees and established new research and development institutions, including the Wuhan AI Research Institute and the Hubei Xiaomi AI Technology Innovation Center.

The AI industry in OVC continues to grow, with its industrial chain taking shape. It hosts over 300 core AI enterprises, covering the entire chain from technology research to application.
