China-BRICS collaboration and exchange event held in Xiamen

The 2025 China-BRICS Science and Innovation Incubation Park for the New Era Collaboration and Exchange Event was held in Xiamen from Dec 15 to 17. Representatives of 25 Chinese and international institutions across 11 countries attended.

During the exchange event, the park signed cooperation agreements with 12 new members of China-BRICS Institutions SLLP Cooperation Network such as Brazil, Russia, India, and South Africa. 

Additionally, eight scholars and industry experts from various fields were newly appointed as members of the Expert Advisory Committee. The event also marked the launch of the BRICS Cross-Border Innovation Accelerator Program and the BRICS Youth Science and Innovation Ambassadors' Exchange Program.

Simultaneously, Shulian (Xiamen) Intelligent Technology Co Ltd signed an agreement with the People's Friendship University of Russia. Both parties will focus on sleep health and attention regulation, initiating applied research in the field of brain-computer interfaces and establishing a full-chain cooperation model encompassing "technology R&D — clinical validation — scenario implementation".

The BRICS Science and Innovation Incubation Park also revealed 10 landmark achievements accomplished since its launch two years ago. These achievements cover four dimensions — platform development, collaborative exchanges, cross-border incubation, and service support.

As a key platform, the park was launched in Xiamen in December 2023. To date, it has established a collaborative network with 49 scientific and innovative institutions across 11 BRICS countries, building a high-quality project repository for BRICS technology cooperation with over 50 projects currently in the pipeline.
