Airport construction plan services Central China

The Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) will continue to bolster the development of air transportation in Central China, its deputy head Yang Guoqing said during the Expo Central China 2009, which was held from April 26 to 28 in Hefei, Anhui province.

The CAAC will arrange 12.1-billion-yuan investment in building or renovating airports in Central China, of some 67 billion yuan needed for such purposes in the region according to the 11th Five-Year Plan (2006-10). Airports in capital cities of all the six provinces in Central China are to undergo renovation or expansion...
