Six insurance institutions approved for lending market entry

Six insurance institutions have gained approval to enter the national interbank lending market in China two years after the central bank issued interbank lending market management measures in July 2007. The measures allow insurance companies and insurance assets management companies entry into the national interbank lending market. Ping An Asset Management Co Ltd, under the king Ping An Insurance (Group) Company of China, Ltd, the country's second biggest insurer by premiums, and PICC Asset Management Co Ltd are the first batch of insurance asset management companies to receive ...
