The Disney Town, the service area of the Shanghai Disney Resort, greeted its first batch of visitors during the May Day holiday from April 30 to May 2.
As Disney's first theme park in the Chinese mainland, the Shanghai Disney Resort is scheduled to open in mid-June.
A new subway station serving the resort opened on April 26. The station on line 11 has a floor space of 40,000 square meters, about four to five times the size of an ordinary station.
