Top 10 most valuable auto brands

Dongfeng Motor of China is one of the Global 500 most valuable brands in the world, according to an annual study conducted by Brand Finance, an asset valuation company.

It's the only Chinese auto company to rank among the top 26 auto brands in its Most Valuable Brands 2014 list.

The British consultancy, which released the ranking of top 500 brands on Feb 18, said Japanese car manufacturer Toyota is the world's most valuable auto brand, with a brand value of $34.9 billion.

Dongfeng, which occupies 26th position on the auto list and 405 rank overall among the top 500, has a brand value of $3.66 billion.
