Canon eyes 20% growth in '09 China market

Canon is looking forward to 20-percent growth in China this year despite the impact of the global economic slowdown, said Hideki Ozawa, president of Canon China.

Speaking at a product launch in Beijing on Wednesday, Ozawa said Canon would aggressively promote its products in China this year although the financial crisis has impacted on the market.

"We regard the crisis as a great opportunity," he said.
