Chinese stocks open higher - April 11

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,236.98 points, up 0.49 percent.
The Shenzhen Component Index increased 0.62 percent to open at 9,017.61.
