China to further release domestic consumption potential

Consumption is the first power driving China's economy, Commerce Minister Zhong Shan said on Saturday.

China will implement a series of measures to encourage Chinese people to spend money in the domestic market. The measures include expanding effective supply, improving supply quality, lowering costs, strengthening areas of weakness and promoting innovation in transportation, Zhong said.
