CHENGDU - Wind turbines produced by China's Dongfang Electric Corp Ltd will soon be used in a wind power plant in Sweden, the company authorities said Friday.

It is the first time China's wind energy technology has been exported to the Swedish market.
Dongfang Electric Corp Ltd, with headquarters in Chengdu, Sichuan province, is a leading power equipment manufacturer and service provider.
The Blaken wind power plant, with 100 turbines and total installed capacity of 250mW, will be one of Europe's biggest wind power plants upon completion.
