Qoros 3 Sedan price announced at Guangzhou Auto Show

Guangzhou– Making its Guangzhou Auto Show debut, Qoros, an international car brand headquartered in Shanghai, announced on Nov 21 the prices for the Qoros 3 Sedan as the last step of its market introduction.

The Qoros 3 Sedan, the brand's first volume car, was applauded at its debut at this year's Geneva and Shanghai international motor shows. The work of a team of renowned international experts, the Qoros 3 Sedan's design combines elegance, simplicity and modernity. Its uniquely modeled LED daytime running lights and taillights contribute to a fresh visual effect. The entire car reflects perennial elegance and robust product quality, and closely fits the values of the new urban force.

In addition, the Qoros 3 Sedan with its ample interior and innovative connectivity brings consumers an exceptional driving and riding experience. Qoros takes pride in the model's generous interior space, made possible by the widest body – 1,839-mm – and longest wheelbase – 2,690mm – in its class, offering added comfort to driver and passengers, and providing abundant storage space.

To meet the wish of the new urban force to always stay in touch with the digital world, all Experience and Elegance models of the Qoros 3 Sedan come equipped with the innovative QorosQloudTM cloud-navigation system and car care, plus with the Qoros MMHTM multimedia hub which is installed on all models, consumers can enjoy free 3G network through simple finger slides, to be guided, to be in control, and to share on the internet. It does away with impractical knobs and buttons to enable consumers to enjoy the fun of human-car interaction without distraction from the road. Most of all, the QorosQloudTM services are free of charge, and consumers can also choose to pay for added-value services such as traffic notifications and parking availability information, etc.

As to quality, the Qoros 3 Sedan received the highest five-star rating and the highest score so far in 2013 in the Euro NCAP crash safety tests in September 2013. Qoros is the first international auto company headquartered in China to have achieved this rating, and the Qoros 3 Sedan has now been recognized as one of the safest cars. Besides high standards of safety, distinguished engineering design is another important part of what makes the product quality of the Qoros 3 Sedan.

The car comes equipped with a selection of two efficient four-cylinder gasoline engines – a naturally aspirated 1.6-liter DVVT and a 1.6-liter turbocharged unit. The 1.6-liter turbo produces 115 kW of power and maximum torque of 210 Nm, and when mated with the six-speed dry twin-clutch transmission, powers the Qoros 3 Sedan to 100 km/h in 9.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 217 km/h. Fuel consumption is an impressive 6.4 l/100 km.

The naturally-aspirated 1.6-liter engine delivers 93 kW and 155 Nm, and combined with the manual transmission, accelerates the car to 100 km/h in 11.6 seconds and consumes 6.1 l/100 km, a figure brought down to 6.0 liters when the engine is paired with the twin-clutch transmission. Beyond this, Qoros also takes pride in the Qoros 3 Sedan's world-class drag coefficient of 0.287, and outstanding levels of noise optimization.
