BEIJING -- China's fixed asset investment growth in the first seven months drops 0.8 percent from that in the first six months, the National Bureau of Statistics said on Wednesday.

According to the NBS, the country's investment in urban areas in the first seven months rose by 30.5 percent over the same period last year.
