A Hong Kong man who was jailed for beating his wife returned home from prison and caught her with another man, who was none other than the police detective assigned to the wife-beating case.

The wife admitted to have fallen in love with the detective during the short period when her husband was detained. The detective was demoted to a patrolling position in the New Territories.
