NPC holds its 2nd conference

Updated: 2009-03-06 12:40 Zhang Ping, head of the National Development and Reform Commission, Xie Xuren, Minister of Finance, and Zhou Xiaochuan, Governor of the People's Bank of China, met the press at 10 am today to discuss China's efforts to cope with the global financial crisis.
They also answered questions from the international media.
Leading officials of some government departments will answer reporters' questions on China's measures to combat the global financial crisis, keep stable and relatively fast economic growth and promote employment, said Li Zhaoxing, spokesman for the Second Session of the 11th National People's Congress, at NPC's first press conference.
