China welcomes DPRK, ROK agreement on Kaesong

BEIJING -?China welcomed the agreement between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and Republic of Korea (ROK) on the pan to reopen the Kaesong Industrial Region.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei said at a regular press conference that China supports both sides to maintain the momentum of dialogue, to further improve relations and make active efforts to ease tension in the Korean Peninsula and region as a whole.
