Tourists act badly due to lack of respect for others

ON THURSDAY, a Chinese female tourist twice slapped the face of a cashier in a duty free shop in Los Angeles International Airport. The woman was subdued on the spot and later detained. The Beijing Times commented on Tuesday:

The consequences of the woman's behavior are clear: The flight was delayed, the woman will face punishment, and the stereotype of uncivilized Chinese tourists will be reinforced.

If only viewed from the perspective of the woman's slapping the cashier, it may seem that impulse is the devil.
