Roller Derby Recruitment Day

Heard of roller derby, but not sure how it works? Are you a monster on quads - or haven't skated a day in your life, but want to try a new sport? Want to join a friendly athletic community here in Beijing? Then we want you! Beijing Roller Derby League is looking for new players, refs, non-skating officials, and fans. Skaters of all skill levels, women and men, expats and locals all are welcome to take part in an informative and educational recruitment day session on Saturday, Aug 23. One of just two leagues in the Chinese Mailand, we practice twice a week at the skating rink in Tuanjiehu Park (Tuesday evenings from 18:30-20:30 and Saturday afternoons from 11:30-13:30). Skates and pads are available for use; first come, first served.

Co-ed Flag Football Fall 2014 League

UFH American Heart Association International Training Heartsaver Courses in August

If you've ever wanted to learn CPR and first aid, this is your chance. August, Beijing United Family Hospital and Clinics is holding its American Heart Association-certified Heartsaver courses in English for individuals and communities. August 24 will see first aid training from 8 am until 12 pm, and CPR and AED training runs from 1 pm until 5 pm.
