In loose white and pale brown clothes, children walked under the natural light, like a group of angels descending from heaven. Some wore wings and their bodies were covered by cloud-shaped dresses.
Named "Alien Cloud", the show featured children's wear designed by Chen Taiyang. As a young designer, Chen was called "Sister Sun" by the little models, as her given name means "Sun" in Chinese.
She wants to make children look fashionable, modern and natural at the same time.
The show is part of an activity called "2016 Love Rocks Art" held during the Beijing Design Week in September. The event aims to help people, especially children, to find beauty in their daily lives, presenting "aesthetics of everyday objects".
