Photo taken on Feb. 22, 2014 shows a statue wearing a mask at Peking University in Beijing. Statues of sages such as Cai Yuanpei, Li Dazhao and Cervantes have had masks placed on them. The capital city during that time maintained its orange pollution alert, the second-highest alert level, as severe smog was forecast to linger in the Chinese capital for another three days.[Photo/China.com] |
