Cloud ear fungus

Cloud ear fungus, also known as wood ear or tree ear, is a jelly-like fungus. It's a famous mountain product in China and is called "the black treasure in Chinese cuisine". Eating wood ear is good for patients with high blood pressure and cancer. It can also prevent coronary heart disease and arteriosclerosis from happening. However, fresh wood ear may lead to solar dermatitis. Dry wood ear is safe, but it's important for people to put dry wood ear in water for some time before eating.
