 我聽之我見：沒有“大珠小珠落玉盤”，沒有“急急切切如嘈雨”，我沒有白居易的神來之筆，能將一首曲子描寫得維妙維俏。我只知道，想聽歌的時候，就會想起它。走路的時候聽著它，會不由得放慢腳步；心情煩躁的時候聽著它……

    Words & Phrases        

1. light up：照亮，如：Firework lit up the sky with their explosions of red and gold. （紅色和金黃色的焰火照亮了天空。）

light up 也可以指“讓人的臉部放光彩，容光煥發”，如：A rare smile lit up his stern features. （他那難得一見的微笑給他死板的臉平添了一些生氣。）

2. drown out： 淹沒；（聲音等）蓋過；壓倒。

在歌中，“you drown out the crowd”可意譯為“所有塵囂即離我們遠去”。

3. old Mr. Webster：相信大家都聽過大名鼎鼎的“韋氏字典”（美國人自己出的字典，在權威性方面相當于中國的新華字典）。

筆者估計這里“Mr. Webster”的作用相當于“Mr. Know-all”，當然“old Mr. Webster”會更親切。
