On March 10, at the Tongling Yangtze River Rail Bridge (Beijing to Fuzhou) site, workers put the finishing touches into the construction of the floor levels system. The Tongling Yangtze River Rail Bridge construction began in 2010, with a total length of 1290 meter across the river, using two towers and a five cable-supported structure. The main span is 630 meters, representing a new bridge span record.

The bridge is divided into two levels, with the lower being used for a four-track railway, and the upper as a six-lane highway. Currently, over 96 percent of the work on the bridge construction has been completedwith just the finishing touch still to be carried out.
