As an outstanding businessman, Jin Xiangzuo retired at the peak of his career and began his own business. Facing strong competitors, his determination and effort finally resulted in the creation of the Asian Packaging Center, approved by the World Packaging Organization. It is the first world industry packaging center in China, located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. Jin Xiangzuo’s plan was to grow the Asian Packaging Center into the world’s leading packaging center within 10 years. He also mapped a strategic development course for the center, which included plans to forge a super aircraft carrier and high-end industrial supply chain for the global packaging industry.

The Asian Packaging Center of the World Packaging Organization is the first global center in packaging industry to settle in China, utilizing international organization resources. Approved by related international organizations and the Chinese government, the center, located in Hangzhou, is an integration of science, technology, education, information, finance, culture, manufacturing, commerce, logistics, construction and service. It has adopted an operation model which combines internationalization, marketization and entrepreneurship with industry management, asset management and capital management. The center also serves three main functions: first, to attract investment from around the world and agglomerate advanced packaging industries; second, strengthen the functions of the general headquarters to serve enterprises and the global packaging industry; and third, develop China as a powerful world packaging country by promoting the development of its packaging industry.
