Thanks to the project of supporting less populous ethnic groups, people’s living condition of the Yonghe, once a typical poor village, has been remarkably improved, infrastructure been completed, industrial structure been adjusted, and people’s per capita income been obviously increased from RMB 1285 in 2005 to RMB 2263 this year.

As a demonstration village in the construction of new countryside, the Yonghe village has incorporated the Achang ethnic culture into the new countryside construction. With good public security, rapid economic development and harmonious social environment, it was also reputed as the “Harmonious Cultural Village” in 2009.
