Temperatures in most parts of Fujian province all climbed, with the highest reaching 26 to 29 degrees Celsius, according to meteorological reports.

In Fuzhou, the high amounted to 26.7 degrees on Sunday Nov 23, depriving many of their long-sleeved shirts and sweaters in the late fall.

The scorching weather will linger in Fujian on Nov 24 and 25, before a cold front from the north arrives with rain and a temperature drop of up to 8 degrees, said weather forecasters.
