On 1 June 2016, the first day of the Safety Month, Indonesia Takara coal-fired power plant project department actively responded to the call of the headquarter by organizing activities in which all involved parties of the project made a pledge and signed their names as a token of promise. The event also marked the launching of Safety Month. On the event, the project department released requirements of promoting and implementing activities of Safety Month. Proprietors, engineers, partners of the joint venture and sub-contractors of onsite construction were present and made a pledge. They also signed on the banner of Safety Month with the theme of “Strengthen Concept of Safe Development, Enhance Safe Quality of All Involved Parties”. The success of the event helped creating an agreeable atmosphere for carrying out activities of Safety Month steadily and comprehensively by effectively mobilizing all involved parties of the project, which had achieved remarkable promotion and mobilization effects.
Since commenced, Takara coal-fired power plant project in Indonesia has been going safely with crucial tasks accomplished successfully such as boiler drum hoisting and steel structure hoisting in main power house. The proprietor engineer was satisfied with the progress and safety conditions of the project and wrote a letter of encouragement. The project is approaching the construction peak in 2016, which makes the safety management and control at construction site even more challenging. The project department must rigorously implement safe production management system, strictly control the process of safe production, carefully identify and remove potential safety hazards, and strengthen a series of measures including emergency management promotion, etc, so as to ensure the safe production and successful implementation of the project.
