The social security swipe card can bring large convenience for them when purchasing medical drugs and making medical appointments.

The people mentioned above should bring their IDs or passports with them on site during the application for the swipe cards, and they must use their Chinese name to apply for the cards. People without Chinese names should check with the Guiyang Social Security Administration Department.

Right after they have obtained their swipe cards, it is required that the cardholders go to any local bank to activate them.
