Ru Stone is a kind of jade with great texture and rigidity, originating from the border area between Ruzhou and Rurang, Henan province, deemed a “national treasure” by the first emperor of the Eastern Han dynasty (AD 25-220).

It is also called plum blossom jade because of the natural and colorful plum blossom pictures with insects, birds, butterflies or mammals shown on its appearance.

According to the geological department, it has many trace elements beneficial to human health, such as iron, zinc, sodium and calcium.
