Airline tickets from Zhengzhou Airport, Central China’s Henan province, to major domestic cities will be able to meet demand during Tomb-Sweeping Day. Most of the airlines have discounts during the holiday, pdsxww.com reported on April 1.

According to price information from the ticket office of Pingdingshan Daily’s Reader Service Center, passengers from Zhengzhou Airport to cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Kunming can buy airline tickets at a discount of 60, 35, 60 and 65 percent, respectively. Ticket prices to Haokao of South China’s Hainan province are at their lowest price in several months, down as much as 70 percent.

The approaching Tomb-Sweeping Day holiday does not attribute much growth to airline ticket prices, because most domestic tourist destinations are currently in off season. Most local tourists prefer short-distance tours, which do not require air travel, during the three-day holiday.
