Experts in attendance at the 6th China International Finance Forum (CIFF) affirmed Huaqiao’s position as an aggregation area for the modern service industry.

Deputy Director of the Managing Committee of the Huaqiao Economic Development Zone, Shen Huafei, who was invited to make a speech at the Forum, introduced the experts to Huaqiao. Shen briefed them on Huaqiao’s assets for FBSI outsourcing supporters, including Huaqiao’s perfect basic infrastructures, which lay a solid foundation for industrial aggregation. Another is favorable policies from the government, which provide powerful support for Huaqiao to develop into a first-class and internationally influential FBSI outsourcing park.

The 6th CIFF was held in Pudong, Shanghai on October 24 and 25, 2009, with the theme “Economic Growth and Finance Innovation in Financial Crisis”.

The Forum covered several topics of value against the backdrop of the severe global financial crisis and slow economic growth: Financial Services and Industry Investment in a Slow Economic Gain Period, Finance Ecological Construction and Regional Economic Development, Aviation and Shipping Financial Development and Two Center Construction of Shanghai, Private Equity Fund Development and Corporate Financing and Listing, Wealth and Assets Management, Financial Service Outsourcing and Financial Talent Introduction through ways of senior dialogue.

A round-table meeting, road show, project communication and capital connection were also part of the Forum so participants could deeply research frontier problems appearing in the development of China’s financial industry.
