Professor Yin Cunyi from Tsinghua University, along with his delegation, visited Huaqiao International Service Business Park on July 3 and investigated its problems during development. Zhao Meng, assistant director of the management committee of Huqiao, warmly welcomed them, and they had a profound discussion with officials from Huaqiao Investment Promotion Bureau, Planning and Construction Bureau, Finance Bureau and Land Bureau.

Zhao Meng first introduced the general development of Huaqiao, and both sides shared opinions on urgent problems in its development. Yin showed strong interests in Huaqiao’s industrial features and future development plan. They also discussed issues including its fiscal capacity, policies, upgrades, development room and docking with Shanghai.

Yin noted that Huaqiao’s transition into modern service industry complied with trends and he would pay constant attention to Kunshan and Huaqiao to offer suggestions for Huaqiao’s further growth through academic research.
