Xu Ting, chief engineer of the Huaqiao planning and construction bureau, gave a lecture on low-carbon and renewable energy utilization at a scale BIPV and industrial transformation forum on Sept 7.

Xu reviewed Huaqiao’s successful experiences in low-carbon and renewable energy utilization. Renewable energy projects will cover rural and urban residential areas. By June 2015, Huaqiao will finish 32 renewable energy pilot projects, consisting of 22 solar energy utilization and 10 ground-source heat pump system projects. New renewable energy projects will cover an area of about 3 million square meters.
