Zhang Xuechun, vice-Party secretary of Kunshan and Vice-Mayor Zhang Yulin met Zhang Qilong, principal of East China  Kang Chiao  International School, at Kunshan Hotel on Oct 9.

The principal introduced the design plan of the school, which integrates construction elements of Harvard University, Stanford University, MIT and other top universities and symbolizes the study environment and ambitions of Kang Chiao ’s students.

Zhang Xuechun said that founding schools play an important role in the development of a region, especially for Kunshan and Huaqiao. An excellent school such as Kang Chiao can solve many problems for businesspeople. Kunshan would provide all kinds of support for the school.

East China  Kang Chiao International School is a fifteen-year comprehensive school, including kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school. The school is planning to set 98 classes, which could enroll more than 3,000 students and open in Huaqiao International Service Business Park in September 2014.
