Kunshan municipal bureau of human resources and social security organized Huaqiao’s first weekly Urban-Rural Recruitment Fair, which was held at the Huaqiao labor and social security center on Feb 15, the first working day after the Spring Festival holiday.

A total of 35 employers offered nearly 900 posts concerning machinery, electronics and maintenance, and 345 job hunters received offers during the fair.

The event marked the launch of Huaqiao’s “Spring Breeze Action”. Started from 2008, the “Spring Breeze Action” is an initiative of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security aiming to provide jobs for migrant workers throughout the county, and which will last until mid –March this year. In addition to a weekly urban-rural recruitment fair, Huaqiao also aims to organize recruitment fairs in local communities.
