With Jiangsu Suli Chemical Co Ltd listing on the stock market on Dec 14, the city of Wuxi has seen its 16th newly stock market listed company this year, as well as raising the total number to 110.
Mainly engaged in the production and sale of pesticides, flame retardants and other fine chemicals research, Jiangsu Suli Chemical Co was founded in 1990 and currently has three subsidiary holding companies, one of which, Jiangyin Suli Chemical Co Ltd, is also located in Wuxi.
Suli mainly produces widely used chemical products for agricultural production, the plastics industry and the building materials industry. The company is categorized as a hi-tech enterprise by the science and technology department, finance department and local taxation bureau of Jiangsu province, and the State Administration of Taxation.
To date, the city of Wuxi has 60 domestic and 50 overseas corporations listed on the stock market. Many other small and medium-sized enterprises have also performed well in multi-level capital markets and the main financial market this year, with 105 debuting on the National Equities Exchange and Quotations (NEEQ), also known as the New Third Board, a pilot national share transfer system for small and medium-sized enterprises.
