More than 1700 tourists from Jilin, Jilin province and Jinzhou, Liaoning province will come to participate in the “Fellow-villagers from Northeast Provinces Visiting Mount Taishan” activity, organized by the Administration Committee of Mount Taishan Scenic Area in May.

On March 17, taking advantage of the travel market of these three northeast provinces, the Administration Committee of Mount Taishan Scenic Area discussed travel marketing with 11 famous travel agencies there and signed the contracts of 1000 people traveling by special train from Jilin and 750 people traveling by train from Jinzhou. They are also cooperating with travel agencies of Tianjin, mainly for road trips and pilgrimages.

In 2009, the Scenic Area organized the "Fellow-villagers from Northeast Provinces Visiting Mount Taishan" activity, attracting a special train from Jilin of more than 1000 people, "Song Fog," to visit Mount Taishan. "Through this activity, said staff of the Administration Committee of Mount Taishan Scenic Area, "the Mount Taishan trip has been listed as a 'Promising Travel Route' by most northeast provinces' travel agencies. The slogan 'Climbing Mount Taishan to Pray for Peace' has left a deep impression on tourists there".
