The US-based Harman International, the world's leading professional audio and entertainment system producer, set up its production base in Dandong last October. The plant has now been completed after ten months of construction.

Harman International Dandong Base cost $50 million and covers an area of 31,000 square meters. The decoration of the exterior will soon be completed.

Li Yanlong, the technology chief of the project, said that it is unusual in the history of Dalian Huayu Construction Group to finish such a large project within ten months. He also thanked the Dandong municipal government and the cooperation zone for their support.

The Dandong municipal government provided capital and electricity support during the construction of the base. Harman International has now started employee training and production trials.
