Moon Lake Sculpture Park opened a new way of sightseeing in August. Visitors can now hover in a helicopter over the beauty of Sheshan.

Two helicopters provided by the Newsky Helicopter Company are based in Moon Park. One is an American Sikorsky 300C featuring good performance, reliability, and efficiency. The other is an American Bel-429, a kind of advanced civil aircraft.

The two helicopters will fly below 200 meters within a 3-kilometer diameter over Moon Lake to offer travelers a panoramic view of the Sheshan resort and the area’s lush summer landscape.

"It is really an unusual experience to overlook the whole of Sheshan from a helicopter," said Wang Yunbin of his first helicopter experience.

"It's so interesting and very different from flying in a plane. It’s just like flying in the air, and the scenery over Shanshan was spectacular," he said excitedly.

Moon Park will further cooperate with Newsky Helicopter Company and plans to offer more projects to create the first helicopter park, offering such attractions as helicopter weddings, pilot training, helicopter science education, helicopter shooting, air shows and other customized projects.

The helicopter sightseeing experience will be launched on a regular basis in mid-August. The price will be around 2000 yuan/10 mins ($298.5/10 mins). For details please call 33558888－5828.
