He Chong wins 3m springboard in Champions Diving Tour

He Chong of China compete in the 3 metre springboard in the Chinese Champions Diving Tour in Nanjing,south China's Jiangsu Province November 24,2006.[Xinhua]

He Chong beat teammate Luo Yutong to win the title of the three-meter springboard in the Chinese Champions Diving Tour in Nanjing on Friday.

He caught up with Luo with a good-executed last dive with a difficulty degree (DD) as high as 3.8, which earned him 91.20 points.

Luo faulted when touching the water and gained only 63.00 points in his last dive.

He was quite satisfied with performance, saying: "I am not in a good form today due to a short training time period back from Mexico."

Champions Diving Tour in east China's Jiangsu provincial capital is the third leg after Zhu Hai and Shang Hai events.

The two-day competition attracted all men divers who will compete in the Doha Asian Games next month
