Diplomats on women's roles: South Africa

"Women play a very important role in South African society – in government, in business and generally in social and cultural life," South Africa's ambassador to China, Bheki Langa, said. "The South African community is mobilized all the time to rally behind this very important cause of protecting the rights of women." The country is very much looking forward to celebrating International Women's Day on March 8, Langa said.
