HK election a milestone in developing democracy

Hong Kong's smooth and orderly Legislative Council election has fully demonstrated the advantages of the city's improved electoral system and is a milestone in developing democracy, said Grace Y.S. Ling, member of CPPCC National Committee and honorary research fellow, Institute of China Studies, Chinese University of Hong Kong.

As the elections has realized "patriots administering Hong Kong", all the LegCo members are passionate in better developing Hong Kong, and the future of Hong Kong would be prosperous with good governance, said Ling.
