Battery maker's new products debut at 2023 Tech G

The 2023 International Consumer Electronics Show, also known as 2023 Tech G, kicked off recently in Shanghai, giving new momentum to innovative electronic consumer-end products. BAK Battery showcased its product lineup at the event, including big cylindrical batteries, small power batteries, energy storage batteries and semi-solid polymer batteries.

With a full range of products, the firm aimed to provide comprehensive solutions across various scenarios and bridge lithium batteries with a smarter and better life.

Since BAK Battery's big cylindrical battery series was first launched, it has attracted attention from both the industry and the general public. As the performance and application progress of the big cylindrical batteries meet expectations, the company is preparing for mass production.

Currently, BAK Battery's small power batteries, including series 18650 and series 21700, have become widely recognized by renowned customers both at home and abroad, such as ECOVACS, Xiaomi, TTI, Midea, Meituan, Hellobike and so on. According to the company, their products have six major performance advantages: high energy density, long cycle life, high rate, fast charging, strong temperature adaptability and super safety.

The products can also be adapted to professional and industrial tools, high-speed electric motorcycles, high-power vacuum cleaners, portable energy storage, floor cleaning robots, and so on. To make further breakthroughs, BAK Battery is leveraging its full-tab technology used in big cylindrical batteries to enhance its small power cylindrical battery series, comprehensively improving the performance of small power batteries and empowering consumer-end products.

Established in 2001 in Shenzhen, BAK’s products include power, digital and energy storage battery cells, battery packs and battery solutions. The products are mainly applied to the domains like new energy vehicles, intelligent terminal products and energy storage systems.

While focusing on its cylindrical battery series, BAK Battery has developed a number of technical systems specific to polymer lithium-ion cells, including the high-safety lithium-iron system, the wide-temperature-range mature chemical system, the high-rate small polymer cell system and the high-rate multi-tab laminated cell system.

These battery series feature high safety, fast charging, long life cycles, strong operating temperature adaptability and various specifications. Their capacity ranges from 20mAh to 10,000mAh, meeting the requirements of intelligence, IoT, miniaturization, lightweight, shared applications and other electronics consumer end markets. This means the batteries can be applied in scenarios like sports wristbands, Bluetooth headphones, handheld printers, drones and so on.

Notably, the batteries displayed by BAK Battery at 2023 Tech G have been optimized by leveraging in-situ interface solidification technology to reduce the quantity of liquid electrolytes and improve the safety and energy density of the batteries. Such batteries will soon be used in explosion-proof mobile phones and tablets, professional and consumer drones, two-wheeled vehicles and a wide range of other consumer electronics.
