Dragon boat 'sails' from Hunan to Beijing's Olympic Forest Park

A nearly 20-meter-long dragon boat "raced" from its birthplace in Lanxi town, in Hunan province's Yiyang, to the lake of Beijing's Olympic Forest Park to celebrate Dragon Boat Festival.

Its 52 paddlers roared as the boat quietly glided across the park's peaceful waters.

The event was organized by the Chinese Traditional Culture Museum located next to the Olympic Forest Park. It presents a rich public program every Dragon Boat Festival, showcasing various festive traditions from around China.
