China-Pakistan entrepreneurs' international seminar building platform to serve enterprises 'going global'

On the morning of October 13th, experts in various fields from China and Pakistan entrepreneurs' international seminar discussed how to integrate the resources of all the parties concerned through Think-tank platform to enhance China and Pakistan enterprise cooperation. Luo Xi, general manager of China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation, Chen Huan, deputy head of Chinese working group of Asian investment bank construction, Mohammed Salim, minister for economic affairs of Pakistan's embassy in China, Li Xiguang, director of International Communication and Research Center of Tsinghua University and Chen Feng, president of CCCMC of Department of Commerce delivered keynote speeches. The keynote speech was held by Wang Linggui, party secretary of Asia Pacific and Global Strategic Studies Institute at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences the and codirector of RDI international Think-tank project office.

Luo Xi, general manager of China Export and Credit Insurance Corporation pointed out in his speech that China and Pakistan economic corridor construction was of great significance, but the risks and opportunities coexisted; Promoting China and Pakistan economic corridor construction, accurately grasping relevant risks and development trends was the inevitable means to carry out the work. Through mechanism arrangements in four aspects of government cooperation, project planning, financial support and risk protection, China Pakistan economic corridor construction had a good start; related work was carried out orderly and a number of major projects have also made phased progress. In the process of China and Pakistan economic corridor construction and the construction of "One Belt and One Road", China Credit Insurance can play a role in information service, credit rating, risk assessment, after-insurance management, claims service, recovery of loss, and support related enterprises and financial institutions to participate in China and Pakistan economic corridor construction, gave full play to the promoting and guiding role of export credit insurance in speeding up the transformation of foreign economic development mode, boosted Chinese brands, Chinese equipment, Chinese standard "going global", promoted the comprehensive improvement of the level of open economy in China, played a role of protection for China and Pakistan economic corridor construction and became the credit "protective umbrella" and risk "medical team."

Chen Huan, deputy head of the working group of Chinese working group of Asian investment bank construction said that the investment bank was an open and inclusive multilateral development agency, a investment and financing platform of achieving mutual benefit and win-win for all parties and professional and efficient infrastructure. Asian investment bank was committed to promoting the construction of infrastructure and connectivity in Asia, including the related infrastructure projects of Asian investment bank member states along the "One Belt and One Road" areas which conforms to the expectation of the countries there and has important significance on speeding up interconnectivity and promoting regional economic cooperation. Chen Huan said that Asian investment bank was willing to cooperate closely with countries along "One Belt and One Rood" areas, including Pakistan; in particular, investment in infrastructure would pave the way for sustainable development in the region in the future.
